Keith Farnan is the latest in a long tradition of great Irish comedians. His first two Edinburgh Shows have already been received with critical acclaim as well as Sell Out runs in London and Edinburgh.
With a flair for combining intelligence, charm and sharp writing, his first show, Cruel and Unusual, dealt with the Death Penalty in America. The Second, No Blacks. No Jews. No Dogs. No Irish. All Welcome dealt with racism and immigration-ism. Both shows featured on BBC Radio 4 and Cruel and Unusual is in development for Irish Television. Be one of the first people to see Keiths brand new show. Book Early!
“If Eddie Izzard had been Irish, he'd surely have turned out a lot like Keith Farnan.” **** The Scotsman

Carl Donnelly
Never one to keep his tongue in his cheek for long, last year’s Edinburgh Award Best Newcomer nominee Carl Donnelly returns to Abbeyfest with a show about his rising ‘fame’, how suddenly he has found himself in a strange limbo of no longer being anonymous, but being far from famous. Recently married (which always gives a comic masses of material), Carl has noticed a considerable lack of confidence in anything other than comedy…
Most recently Carl appeared on the BBC’s 'Russell Howard’s Good News', 'Grouchy Young Men' and 'The Comedy Store' for Comedy Central and popped up on our screens throughout Christmas on the marathon show 'The Noughties', also for the BBC.
